Hello friends! I have come up with another blog on Keyword. As you know that keyword plays an important role in digital marketing. They help us rank our website on Google’s SERP. Isn’t it? The keyword makes it easier for people to find your site or blog on Google. Many people use free keyword research tools to get the best keywords for their websites. But, hold on! Let me tell you here is that the right quantity of keywords will help you achieve these goals. Whether the goal is:
- To rank higher on Google ✓
- Target relevant audience, or ✓
- Enhance SEO score, etc. ✓
Proper integration of keywords is important in a blog
to achieve associated goals. So, friends, in today’s blog, I will talk about
the number of keywords you should add.
Let’s get started now.
You must understand ‘keyword density’ to add a relevant amount of keywords below 👇
What is keyword density, you ask? Simply put,
keyword density is the number of keywords that appear in the entire
content/article/blog. As per experts, the ideal keyword quantity should 1-3%, which
means the keyword should appear at least 2-3 times per 100 words. This basically
helps search engine what your page is all about.
Is there any formula to look at keyword density? Yes, friends, the formula you can follow here is – take a total number of keywords on your
page and divide it by a total number of words of content. After getting the ratio,
turn it into a percentage (%) by multiplying (x) result by 100.
But friends, how many times you would use this formula
and keep checking keyword density? Don’t you think it’s time-consuming? Friends,
I myself don’t use this formula. So, what do I do? Curious to know? Keep reading
below.
How will you check keyword density if you’re using blogger?
Friends, I use the blogger platform and let me tell you
blogger doesn’t tell you the number of keywords added. So, how do I check? Friends,
I use SEMrush and Ahrefs tools for my blog. These two tools are very helpful in
letting you know the number of keywords you have added to the blog post. Not
only do these tools offer keyword research, but also help you write SEO-friendly content and recommend your keywords. So, you can use them for both the
purpose i.e. checking keyword density, producing SEO friendly and search engine
friendly content.
What if you’re using the WordPress platform? You would be
having this question as well. Guys, one thing I like about WordPress is that
you can add the Yoast SEO plugin in it and check the SEO score. Yes, friends, the Yoast SEO plugin is very helpful. Not only does it tell you about keyword quantity,
but also helps you make your overall content SEO-friendly.
What if I’m using another platform apart from blogger and WordPress?
Now this question would be hovering in your mind,
right. Friends, the keyword strategy formula will work for any content and for any
platform. The good thing about WordPress is that you get the Yoast SEO plugin. And for
other platforms, you can use Ahrefs and SEMrush tool. These tools are amazing
and work best for the overall content marketing strategy. So, you can use them
without giving a second thought. I also use the SEMrush tool to produce SEO-friendly
and search engine-friendly content. And through this tool only I get to know
the density of keywords added in content.
I would only say that don’t look for other options
because Ahrefs and SEMrush are indeed the best tools for bloggers, digital
marketers, and content writers. If you haven’t used these tools, give them a
shot. You’ll surely love them.
Let’s sum it all up ⭐
No doubt, keywords play a significant role in overall
site ranking on Google. Here in this blog, you have learned what keyword density
is and how you can check the number of keywords. And the bonus point you learned
here is keyword tools through which you can produce SEO-friendly content, get
keyword recommendations, and much more. Even if you don’t want to use these
tools then follow the formula of keyword density which I told you in this blog.
Make sure your content contains 2-3 keywords per 100 words.
