Follow the proven tactics to boost your blog SEO 👇
Friends, don’t try to skip the reading in between,
make sure you read word for word. So, let’s start.
Make your blog mobile-friendly
Today, Google prefers mobile-friendly sites more than desktop. Why? Because the majority of people use mobile devices to access the internet. Since the 2015 Penguin Algorithm update, Google started favoring mobile-friendly sites. So, how do you make your blog mobile-friendly? Follow the tips given below.
- Use responsive and mobile-friendly template
- Use responsive blog design
- Add short images which are mobile-friendly
The list goes on and on.
Add keywords (in specific parts)
Keywords are the most significant part of your blog. Through keywords, only people access your blog. So, if your blog doesn’t contain keywords, it won’t show up in the search results pages on Google and your blog won’t get click-through-rate (CTR) as well. So, where will you add keywords to the blog?
- Title of the blog
- In the introduction
- Middle of content
- In the concluding part
- URL of your blog
- Meta description
- And tags
These are some places where you have to add keywords.
Don’t forget to optimize your images
How to optimize images, you ask? Guys, most people
only know that by adding keywords in content, title, header, body, conclusion,
and meta description, we can optimize content. But what about images? Have you
ever thought about image optimization? Let me tell you something here – Google doesn’t
read images. Google only reads text content and considering this Alt text is
required to write in images so that Google can easily identify the image. Believe
me guys, Alt text helps images rank on search results on Google.
Add internal links within the blog
Internal links play a vital role in blog optimization.
What are internal links? Basically, internal links are the links to your own
website’s pages and blog. And internal links help search engines see the
relevancy of your blog and other pages through links. So, if you have written a
topic on SEO and you’re writing a blog talking about SEO then you can link your
previous blog to the new one. It helps you get more visitors to the site and
shows search engines the authority of your blog.
Well, you can also see how I add internal links to my
new blogs. I always try to refer my previous written articles with newer one,
so that it people can also visit those blogs.
Take help of Google Search Console
Once you’re done with all the above-mentioned points, you must go to Google Search Console to check how your blog SEO is performing. Search Analytics Report you will find in GSC. From this report, you will get to know the following details –
- Engagement on blog
- New users, returning users
- People behavior
- Referral sources
- Clicks you got on a particular blog, etc.
There are much more that you get to know from Google
Search Console. This tool will help you know where you’re getting traffic
to your site. So, make sure to use this tool.
